Art Street

Art Street lies in the heart of Abha in the Asir region of south-western Saudi Arabia and extends about 200 metres. It is considered one of the most important tourist sites in the region and a meeting point for art lovers, both artists and enthusiasts, from all over Saudi Arabia. The street has 10 galleries, a theatre for holding concerts, and many local and international restaurants and cafes. As far as the eye can see the street is decorated with varied artworks by local artists, and colourful umbrellas are spread out like a dazzling carnival between two rows of jacaranda trees.
