Al Muftaha Village

Al Muftaha Village is one of the tourist villages in the city of Abha in the south of Saudi Arabia. The village is built in an architectural style drawn from the heritage and civilisation of the Asir region. It is a group of adjoining buildings along inner and outer passageways, built using the traditional building methods of Abha, with small openings, thick walls and the use of "raqaf" (stone slabs) to protect the mud walls from rain and provide shade on the building's facade.
