Masjid e Madhoon

Al Madhoon Mosque is one of the archaeological mosques in the city of Taif. It is named after the mountain where it stands. It is also called Al Qantara Mosque, because it stands by the Ain aqueduct (qantara) that passed in front of it after it was built, and it is also called Qabil Mosque because it lies next to a farm belonging to the Al Qabil family.
