Masjid Quba

Quba Mosque in Madinah is considered the first mosque founded by the Messenger (peace be upon him) when he arrived in Madinah as a migrant from Makkah. He took part in laying its first stones, and the Companions then completed it. The Noble Messenger would visit it from time to time to pray in it, usually choosing Saturdays, and he urged people to visit it. A noble hadith says: "Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Quba Mosque and prays in it, will have a reward like that of an Umrah."
