Masjid Fatimah Alzahraa
Masjid Fatimah Alzahraa, called Masjid Saad ibn Muadh in historical sources, is the smallest of the Seven Mosques, with an area of about 12 square metres and a small step, built in the same architectural style as the rest of the group. It is one of the Seven Mosques in the Khandaq area north-west of the Prophet's Mosque, which mark the positions where the Muslims were stationed and led during the Battle of the Trench (Al Ahzab) in the fifth year of the Hijra. The mosque is attributed to the noble Companion Saad ibn Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), the chief of the Aws, who played a prominent role in that battle, and it is one of the small landmarks visitors to Madinah seek out to complete their visit to the historic Seven Mosques.
