Al Madinah Museum

Al Madinah Museum is a government museum that showcases the heritage and history of Madinah. It holds various archaeological collections, visual exhibition halls and rare photographs related to Madinah, and displays about 2,000 rare artefacts that embody the heritage and culture of the city and document its natural landscapes, its people and how it took shape over the years. One of the most interesting parts of the museum tour is the evolution of the Prophet's Mosque from a house and courtyard into the vast complex it is today.
