Al Arsh Heritage Village
Al Arsh Village is one of the villages of the Bani Thabit tribes, north of Al Namas governorate. Its most distinctive feature is its museum, a large two-storey stone building in the style of the old heritage houses of the Asir region, with 9 rooms of different sizes holding about 1,000 heritage items. They include cooking and eating utensils and irrigation vessels, with a room for storing grain, as well as coffee tools, incense burners, hand mills for grinding grain, farming and ploughing tools, carving and carpentry tools, some men's and women's clothing, some jewellery and women's cosmetic items, including those used in the past to prepare a bride.
