Tanomah Heritage Fort
Dar Dahdooh Fort is one of the archaeological forts in Tanomah, part of the Asir region. It has three floors showing features of the area's heritage life: a floor devoted to handicrafts and leather goods, a floor for traditional weapons, and a floor for old jewellery and women's clothing. The fort gives visitors an introductory tour of the history of Tanomah and its authentic heritage through its varied collection, and its hosts take care to welcome visitors with dates, authentic butter and Arabic coffee in the traditional way, giving the experience a genuinely hospitable character.
