Al Najdi Historic Mosque in Farasan
Al Najdi Mosque is one of the old mosques on Farasan Island, part of the Jazan region in western Saudi Arabia, and is considered one of the island's prominent archaeological sites. It was built by the pearl merchant Ibrahim Al Tamimi in 1347 AH. Its most distinctive features are its Islamic inscriptions and decoration, which closely resemble those in the Alhambra Palace mosque.
