Al Qassar Heritage Village in Farasan

Al Qassar Heritage Village, known for short as Al Qassar, is an old village on Farasan Island, part of the Jazan region in south-western Saudi Arabia. The village has about 400 houses built of stone and palm fronds, and according to historians it dates back to the Roman era. It also has inscriptions and drawings, some of which date to the Himyarite era.
