Bayt Al Jirmal in Farasan
Bayt Al Jirmal (a corruption of the name "German House") is an archaeological building on the coast of Qumah Island, part of the Farasan Islands in the Jazan region in the south of Saudi Arabia. The story of the house is that the Germans built a large warehouse on Qumah Island to store the coal used as fuel by steamships passing through the Red Sea between the Suez Canal in the north-west of the Red Sea and Bab Al Mandab in the south-east.
