Radhwa Heritage Museum
Radhwa Museum is one of the largest museums in Saudi Arabia. It began when Salem Al Hujouri, a lover of history, decided to turn his home into a museum, inheriting this precious hobby from his father. He first collected newspapers, books and postage stamps, but the hobby grew, and his desire widened to keep everything that reflects the history of the region and shows it as it deserves, until his hobby finally produced a tourist treasure. As soon as you enter Radhwa Museum, you will not believe how many heritage items are gathered in one place, including coffee utensils, weapons and lanterns. The layout imitates old shops, and the museum is divided into six halls. The first hall displays textiles, clothing and taxidermy. The second is decorated with fine art and war pieces from the early Islamic eras, such as swords, rifles and shields embroidered with Arabic phrases. In the third hall you will find many rare Islamic and Arab coins. The fourth hall is devoted to manuscripts, newspapers and old books. The fifth hall shows a collection of cooking utensils made of copper and clay, and the sixth hall has tools once used for fishing and a collection of large stuffed fish that reflect the diversity of marine life in Yanbu.
