Kaab bin Al Ashraf Fort

Kaab bin Al Ashraf Fort is one of the old forts of Madinah and is considered one of its most important and prominent historic fortresses. It was built 14 centuries ago and covered an area of about 2,000 square metres. It consists of 20 rooms and eight watchtowers, although a large part of the fort has been destroyed and has disappeared over the ages. Remains of the fort still stand and are visited by many locals and tourists interested in archaeology and history.
