Imam Turki bin Abdullah Cave (Ghar Al Shuyukh)
Imam Turki's Cave, also known as "Ghar Al Shuyukh" (the Elders' Cave), lies on the Al Aliyah plateau, the largest, most impregnable, highest and most valley-rich plateau of Jabal Al Yamamah. The cave is named after Imam Turki bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Saud, who took refuge in it to shelter from the oppression of the invading Ottomans and, when the chance arose, drove them out of Najd. Imam Turki also married in this cave and had a son whom he named Jalawi, after his Jalwa (his time of withdrawal) in the cave.
