Old Jalajil
Jalajil was one of the strongest towns of Sudair in the eleventh century AH. It was named after the jaljalah of water, the murmur of water as it moves between the rocks of the valleys. Jalajil is known for its many palm trees and large date production, and it also has some historic places such as the watchtower, the old mosque, the Emirate Palace and the palace of Suwaid bin Ali.
