Subaie heritage house
Al Subaie Palace is one of the most prominent historic palaces in Saudi Arabia and is in Shaqra Governorate, Riyadh Region. It was built in the Andalusian Islamic style and stands in the south-western corner of the old town, overlooking the historic markets. King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, used to rest in this palace on his journeys between Riyadh and other regions. Al Subaie Palace is more than 80 years old. It was first restored in 1411 AH (1990) and then fully restored in 1421 AH (2000). Al Subaie House reflects the decorations that were common in the central region of the Kingdom. The palace is planned to be turned into a heritage museum, a destination for visitors to discover the rich history of Saudi Arabia and the beauty of its architecture.
