Al Malad Castle

Al Malad Castle is one of the most important historic landmarks in the village. It consists of two neighbouring forts built long ago by two brothers for military observation and used by them as food stores. Beside the two towers stands a building where peace agreements between tribes were concluded and commercial deals were made in the past. They lie on the old trade route leading south to Asir.
