Al Baha Regional Museum
Al Baha Museum, one of the museums of Al Baha Region, was founded in 1424 AH. It displays pieces, fossils and old tools from the Stone Age and from eras more than 3,500 years before the Common Era, along with many artefacts from the Mousterian period. A copy of the Holy Quran, dated 1280 AH and presented to the museum by Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, is a highlight. The museum began in a rented building until the Antiquities and Museums Agency built a permanent home for it, choosing Raghdan Forest as a suitable site.
