Zubaida Canal

Ain Zubaida is an abundant spring of fresh water and one of the marvels of Muslim endowments. It was commissioned by Princess Zubaida bint Abi al-Fadl Jafar bin Abi Jafar al-Mansur, the Abbasid Hashemite wife of Harun al-Rashid, who became known by her title Zubaida. It is under the General Authority for Awqaf in Saudi Arabia.
