Al Salhi Museum
Al Salhi Museum is one of the museums of the Al-Qassim region, in Unaizah Governorate. It was founded by Fahd Al Ali Al Salhi, and is a dilapidated mud house more than sixty years old, which Al Salhi bought at auction and turned into a museum within five months, preparing it for visitors and the interested public. The museum has three floors on an area of 300 square metres. The first floor holds the folk majlis, the dome, the Al Maqlat and the courtyard, while the second floor has five rooms and balconies, all containing the furniture of an old Najdi home. The museum holds many heritage items and tools, including most of the tools of the old house as well as some used in farming, in the markets and elsewhere, along with old cars, coins and heritage books.
