Dar Al Ajdad Museum

Dar Al Ajdad Museum is one of the museums of the Al-Qassim region, in Ar Rass Governorate. It was founded by Daifallah Abdullah Mohammed Al Ghufaili. The museum is in a large traditional house with big halls, corridors and rooms, in which the heritage collection is displayed. The collection includes coffee tools, such as coffee pots that vary in make and size, kettles, coffee roasting pans, mortars and coffee grinders, as well as cooking utensils and vessels such as pots, trays, cauldrons and platters. There are also farming tools, such as ploughs and well-drawing gear, and a millstone for grinding and crushing grain. It also has some war equipment such as rifles, swords and spears, and a collection of clothing, jewellery and women's adornments. The museum also has a number of old cars displayed outside.
