Maqsorat Alswailem

Maqsorat Alswailem is a large archaeological palace with annexes, built at the start of the 13th century AH during the time of the Emir of Al Bukayriyah, Abdullah bin Swailem bin Othman Al Swailem, after Al Bukayriyah Governorate was established. For a time it was the seat of the emirate, and received a number of kings and prominent figures, such as Imam Faisal bin Turki and King Abdulaziz when he came to Al Bukayriyah in 1325 AH. The Maqsorah is one of the most important heritage landmarks in Al Bukayriyah Governorate in the Al-Qassim region in central Saudi Arabia.
