Abu Al Hol in Hail

Abu Al Hol Mountain (the Sphinx) is a unique natural rock formation in the village of Aba Al Hiran in the Aja mountain range, west of Hail. Erosion and weathering over time have carved it until it resembles a human head, which is why it is named after the famous statue in Egypt. The mountain is a striking natural landmark in the Hail region, visited by sightseers and photography enthusiasts who come to enjoy the varied rock formations found throughout the Aja mountains.
