Hail Regional Museum
Hail Regional Museum is a tourist and recreational museum owned by the Saudi Museums Commission. It is one of the most important museums in Hail and attracts many visitors, having been built to raise awareness and educate the community. The museum tells visitors the history of a period in the Arabian Peninsula in general, and of the "Bride of the North" in particular, from prehistoric times through the beginnings of Islam to the present day, which has made it one of the region's most important cultural projects. It stands in Hail next to the Prince Sultan Cultural Centre, on a total area of about 11,000 square metres, and opened in 2004 after renovation. The museum has a unique design inspired by Hail's architecture, and is a very important addition to the region's cultural and artistic scene, with archaeological treasures, heritage items and old manuscripts that give visitors a real chance to move between eras and learn about the cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia.
