Al Turathi Restaurant

Al Turathi Restaurant in central Hail is an experience that combines a restaurant and a museum. It was founded by Eid Al Harbi in an old mud building more than a hundred years old, with a tamarisk-wood roof. The building has two floors with about 35 rooms over roughly 1,200 square metres, and rooftop seating overlooking Hail's landmarks. The restaurant serves traditional Hail dishes, and visitors wander through its mud rooms, which display a variety of heritage items including weapons, household vessels, coffee pots, old teapots, jewellery and carpets.
