Al
Al-Jouf Regional Museum of Archaeology and Folk Heritage is one of the leading museums in the north of the Kingdom. It is in Dumat Al-Jandal Governorate, close to Marid Castle, Omar ibn Al-Khattab Mosque and Al-Dir' Quarter, within the historic area of the old town. The exhibition hall has explanatory panels that tell the history of the Al-Jouf region in chronological order, along with archaeological finds from the region and folk heritage exhibits that reflect the lives of local people in the past. The museum is an ideal first stop for a tour of Dumat Al-Jandal's historic landmarks and for understanding their story before visiting them.
