Wadi Najran
Wadi Najran is one of the largest valleys in Saudi Arabia and the largest in the Najran region. It divides the city of Najran into northern and southern parts. Its tributaries come from the Hijaz mountains (the Sarawat) and the surrounding Asir plateau, and it runs 180 kilometres east from its mouth on the plains, ending in the sands of the Empty Quarter. Its average width on the plains is 1,000 metres.
