Qabil Mud Houses

The village of Al Qabil in Najran city has the largest preserved cluster of old mud houses, with tall tower houses built of layered mud in the traditional Najrani style. Walking among these buildings gives visitors a vivid picture of life in old Najran, although some of them are in need of restoration. Ideal for heritage lovers and photographers. The best time is just before sunset, when the mud glows in the sunlight, and a visit can be combined with the nearby Al Ukhdud site. Please respect the residents' privacy.
