Al Ukhdud Visitor Center

The Al Ukhdud Visitor Center is the ideal starting point for a visit to the Al Ukhdud site in Najran. Carefully designed panels in Arabic and English give an overview of the history of ancient Najran, the origin of its name and the story of Al Ukhdud. Entry is free with registration, and there is water, restrooms and a children's play area. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. After the center, the walking tour of the ruins begins, so it is advisable to bring water and a hat or umbrella and to visit in the morning or late afternoon. Suitable for families and history enthusiasts. Opening hours: Sat–Thu 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Fri 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
