Fathi Al

The Fathi Al-Binali Museum is a private heritage museum in Darin on Tarout Island, close to Darin Fort. It collects old objects from the history of the Eastern Province, mostly from the era of fishing and pearl diving before oil was discovered, from sea tools to traditional household items. The museum is small but well kept and its displays change, and the owner welcomes visitors himself and tells the stories behind the pieces. A short visit for heritage lovers and families that rounds off a tour of Darin and Tarout. Opening hours: Daily about 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
