Al Tawalie Area
South of the historic At-Turaif district, where the fragrance of the land meets the memory of the valley, the Al Tawalie area stretches out as a natural oasis holding historic farms on the banks of Wadi Hanifah. This fertile land was long the source of the clay used to build At-Turaif, and it saw a rich variety of crops, including dates, figs, peaches, apricots, pomegranates and grapes. Today, it hosts Souq Al Mawsim, one of the oldest markets in the Arabian Peninsula, making it a center for trade and cultural exchange.
