Al Qazaa Heritage Palace
The heritage palace in Al Qazaa village is an archaeological landmark in the Asir region. It took about 140 years to build, and embodies the details of old southern architecture with its polished stones and traditional carvings. The palace was recently restored by a local artist to preserve its authentic character. It is now owned by a descendant of the founding family, who receives visitors in person and tells them the story of the palace and the family history. The place serves hot and cold drinks prepared locally in an authentic heritage atmosphere, and a visit is a rich cultural experience rather than just a sightseeing tour.
