Sharaan Nature Reserve

Sharaan Nature Reserve is a government reserve north-east of AlUla, covering a large area that holds a delicate ecosystem and varied wildlife, including red-necked ostriches, Nubian ibex, gazelles and eagles, along with efforts to reintroduce the Arabian leopard. The reserve is known for its towering red rock formations and valleys covered in wildflowers, and offers guided safari tours, hiking trails and stargazing sessions.
