Aliyah Madinah Farms
Aliyah Madinah Farms hold a historic social standing: they are farms that the Companion Mukhayriq gave as charity to the Prophet (peace be upon him) before he was killed at the Battle of Uhud, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) distributed them among the Muslims. Mukhayriq had accepted Islam shortly before the battle, gave away his wealth, and fought alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) until he died. The farms are a dense group of connected palm farms, starting from one kilometre from the Prophet's Mosque, with green scenery and areas set up for sitting and strolling among the palms and natural water channels, along with places selling dates, among the finest in the region. The farms are in Al Aliyah District on Ali ibn Abi Talib Road, at the intersection with Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz.
