Souq Al

Souq Al-Tabbakha is a gathering of long-established Madinah restaurants, designed to preserve the traditional spirit and popular life of Madinah, and blending the cultures, flavours and cooking styles of the Islamic world. It has more than 60 outlets competing to serve a variety of popular dishes such as mandi, madhbi, trotters, kebab and fish, along with dishes from across the Islamic world with a Madinah flavour, such as kabuli, bukhari, maqalqal, kammuniya, manto and yaghmash. The market is more than forty years old, and the Madinah Municipality has renovated it fully and in a modern style that echoes Madinah's heritage, making it an important tourist frontage that draws visitors and tourists of many nationalities.
