Al Awsiyah Reserve

Al Awsiyah Reserve was established as the first bird reserve in Madinah, adding a scenic new attraction for local people. It is known for its abundance and variety of birds, with more than 300 birds of over 25 different species. The place has a distinctive rural design, suited to outings, tourism and enjoying the scenery. The reserve is a farmed area with a number of palm trees, covered with transparent canopies that let sunlight in and shelter a variety of birds, along with seating areas and hospitality for visitors. It offers a special experience of watching the birds, listening to their calls, feeding and watering them, and enjoying the natural atmosphere by sitting and strolling. Entry is for families only, not for individuals.
