Al Qaswa Walkway

Al Qaswa Walkway is one of Madinah's most important facilities for residents and visitors, a pleasant place to spend time with family and friends and designed for long-distance walking. It lies in the south-west of Madinah in Al Qaswa District, on Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl Street, about 4 kilometres from Quba Mosque. The walkway is named after the district in which it was built, chosen by residents and visitors in a poll run by the Municipality on its website. It is one of the newest park projects carried out by the Madinah Municipality as part of its strategic plans to improve quality of life, enliven public parks and expand green cover, and is one of the 17 main walkways spread across the city's districts. The walkway and park together cover 110,000 square metres, with 21,000 square metres of green lawns and dedicated tracks for walking and sport.
